poem: Friends Forever

Here is poem 2.

Friends Forever
By Blake Roberts

I live in the midst of nowhere
outside of a small town.
I do not have friends
who tend to come around.

That’s why I like the Internet.
I can email far and near.
Having a great friend like you
truly brings me cheer.

I am here to listen
when your face is in a frown.
You always lift me up
whenever I am down.

I feel a strong connection
that I know will never break.
I want to come and meet you
And cook for you a cake.

Thanks for being my friend.
remember this, it’s true.
You will always be my friend,
no matter what fate shall do.
